but then again Jim you have to bet against the stupid bets at the dog track...like people always favoring the 1 dog, especially if he's dropping a grade...but if he happens to be a medium breaking wide runner with several rail running extreme early dogs ...he is going to get buried at the 1st turn and check up and finish out of the money....the promblem is do you play a 4/678/all(minus the 1) tri for $30 or do you play the 678/4/all.... now remeber that the 7&8 are mid/wd runners with late speed??? so if you play enough combinations and the 1 still finishes 3rd your screwed, but if the 1 is out of the money and the tri only pays $145 and you get half...... the risk/reward is not justified....kind of like a hedge when the move is not very large ,....isn't it
