That which is foreign is wrong and evil. Sad to think that many people subscribe to that thought process when they are unfamiliar with any given topic.

I think human nature gives us a tendency to turn our noses up at the unfamiliar. However, it is the greater man who will familiarize himself with the unknown before forming an opinion or subscribing to a belief.

You are so correct in your statement that it is the Resurrection that makes it all so important. Any mortal, for any reason, is capable of commiting both the betrayal and the execution of another, as was done to Christ. However, it is the Resurrection .... now THAT'S special, and exceeds the realm of mortal ability.

On the third day, when Mary Magdalene went to the toumb with the other women to annoint the body of Christ removed the stone, revealing emptiness, two men appeared before her and asked "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here. He is Risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee, <The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified, and on the third day be raised again.> Then they remembered his words." Now THAT'S impressive!

Just my opinion,
Happy Easter and Passover to All...

Robert I do not know why I felt compelled yesterday to come to this thread and play devil's advocate. I do not know why my fingers typed the questions I asked. But I am a patient man and somewhere out there in cyberspace I know God has placed a wondering eye that will jot down all the questions posed and answer them with knowledge based on his word. They will probably have to dig out their bibles and do a little research in order to do so.

Now I have never professed to be Gentile or Jewish, I stated before the start I would be a devil's advocate, which even if you clearly state what you are about to do some do not see the purpose only the harm in the question. What harm is in a question? Well there is none if you are confident enough in your belief, faith and trust in God to guide you to answer it.

Today is the Easter the annual Christain festival in comemoration of the resurection of Jesus Christ. Just remember I have been asked where will my soul go at the time of death. Well I believe there is a book in heaven that within has all my questions, writings, actions and works while here on earth. Where will I go? I guess it will the will of God to judge me on contents of that book and decide if I am to be thrown into the lake of fire. My one worry while I am alive and thinking on this world is that I live my life here and never once cause thought for the good of God and not have at least one entry in the book.. Because no entries within the book I feel I will be thrown into the lake of fire. (Don't ask for the scriptures because I am not a bible thumper, but that is what my parents taught me all my life)

I wish everyone would ask themselves what their purpose is here on earth. I believe mine is not to answer sometimes but to ask that which might cause thought and if one people pulls out a bible to answer then I have accomplished my purpose. I can answer all that I have asked.

I have learned on this thread that like so many threads on the internet there is true harsh evil and sheep for the slaughter. But when a soul of God steps up to answer a question it stands out clearly for all to see.

Happy Easter
