I would have liked to have seen some Fast Ethernet ports in addition to Gigabit Ethernet, though. It might be some time before everybody gets over to GE, and I'd like the option of attaching Fast Ethernet devices directly to the Fibre Channel SAN. The big questions for me are when will it be ready to ship, and when will the demand be there. (Good conference call questions.) Because this device apparently will support only Gigabit Ethernet, it could be a while before there is a lot of demand, although GE seems to be gaining some momentum now. I just hope they don't call it the "Rapport Gigabit Ethernet to Fibre Channel Gateway", or the "AR II GE to FC Bridge". <g> Craig
