Hi Christine,
I believe He deliberately avoided fame and publicity because of His humility and truth. People who speak the truth to the self righteous do not gain a tremendous popularity. His teachings are remarkable no matter how they got to us but the fact that they remain almost 2000 years later show they must have tremendous value. Shortly after Yeshuas death some Jewish leaders were trying to stop the movement of followers and a wise leader said "if it is from God you will not stop it and may find yourself fighting God, if it is not it will die on its own." The pure and beautiful love Yeshua taught has been grossly perverted and misused throughout the ages and will stop only when He returns which I believe will be soon. Many of the Biblical prophecies of His return are being fulfilled daily. I know this has been said before but big things were missing that are there now. Like Israel being a Nation again after nearly 2000 years and much more.
I heard a song that reveals some of the love I have experienced from Jesus the words were, He set me free to run through a field of cool grass and fresh flowers while He went to the cross for my weaknesses.
Anyway I am grateful that you can see the misrepresentation He has had and wish all could see the pure love He has for everyone. I guess you can tell I had a spiritual weekend. Love, Nancy
