MtnBear,

but cannot erase the vision of him beside Hillary. (Greenspan)

Yes, I also have that memory etched in my mind (Greenspan's chosen spot next to Mrs.Clinton at the Inauguration). Since such arrangements are carefully planned at official affairs, there must have been a reason, or a message that the Clintons wanted to send.

But I'm not sure what the message was. Clearly Greenspan's position of honor had great significance.

Any one have any answers or ideas?

Jack

MtnBear, A lot of very intelligent people have minimal or no common sense. I read a book about Nixon and Watergate. In this book one of the White House maids found an aspirin bottle with the cap chewed off in his bedroom, seems as though he couldn't open up a pill bottle with a child-proof protective cap. Greenspan may indeed be very intelligent but he is either asleep during the Fed meetings ala Reagan, or he has been bought and is purposely looking the other way. Regardless, Clinton and Greenspan are currently joined at the hip. If you want to see how much confidence Greenspan has in the stock market check out his stock portfolio. You will not find one. He doesn't own any stocks.

Terry,
