Yes, I see what you are referring to and the possibility that her birds are responsible for her illness has been investigated. She has two cocketiels and they do make her condition worse when she is around them. That is why her home is now free of all pets.

The respiratory specialist has told her that the cilla, or
alveoli(sp), I'm not sure which, has been partially destroyed. Thus, reducing her capacity to utilize the oxygen into her bloodstream.

This is one diagnosis we would be very happy to hear was inaccurate.
