Wow - just saw that Bankamerica and NAtionsbank are gonna merge. what's next. maybe The Motley Fool will make a tender offer for the Zthread. I'd sell my shares. gggg larrry

<Venture Capitalists> I am asking this question to anyone and everyone who might know. I know very little about venture capitalists and what they do. Can someone tell me what they do and what their goal is?? Do companies that hire venture capitalists usually have a greater tendency to get bought out?? If someone knew of a company that was hiring a venture capitalist and it wasn't public knowledge yet, would that person assume it would be a good time to buy that particular stock?? Just looking for input.
