Graystone, be sure to lightly steam the broccoli before you make the milkshakes. I think they might be very good. You are right about doing this in private. Who would enjoy sausage if they watched it being made, after all? Be sure to make up a little fairy tale about the leprechauns, or the Hulk, or someone else fantastic who dusted the milkshake with magic, so that the color is not an obstacle to enjoyment.

Have you experimented with green pizzas? Most pizza places make one these days, and they are just loaded with nutritious vegetables. I think spinach and garlic taste particularly good. I believe parents make a mistake in late babyhood sometimes, when they introduce the wonderful concept of pizza, but with just cheese. The children would still love it with vegetables if they had not come to conceptualize pizza as not having much stuff on the top earlier. Perhaps you can start your latest baby out with this concept in mind.
