Your understanding is the same as mine. Let's hope reality is accommodating. The hard part is determining the price and time points for the wave action. The market is dynamic and that is why wave interpretation has to be flexible. Most of the mistakes I've made and seen made by others is predicting too short a time for the waves to play out. The most famous is Bob Prechter's anticipating the bear market several thousand DOW points too early, and as a result, reading the turning point for the bear market into every top.
