I heard second hand from someone who talked with a sales manager for Osicom who was at the show. Said they showed a wide array of fiber optic products and received a lot of leads and actually wrote up a few proposals right on the spot for the GigaMux. Said that 1 person actually came out to the show mainly to check out the GigaMux after reading about it in a couple trade rags. Turn around time on leads is down to just a few days, from the several weeks in the past... they have quite a few to follow up on from what I was told. The company has decided not to present at Interop in Vegas in May and has opted to display at SuperComm in Atlanta in June. Reason being is because they feel they can get the most bang for their buck at Supercomm. Interop focuses on hardware/software whereas Supercomm focusses more on connectivity solutions.

New products? I heard their new brochure for the GigaMux includes an 80 Gbps, 32 channel DWDM system. I've got a copy being mailed to me and will try to scan in the text and post it here. I don't know the details of it yet but I doubt they are ready to ship it yet. It is probably similar to how they displayed the original GigaMux at Interop last year and didn't start shipping till the fall. I'll be getting details soon.
