<< The company has decided not to present at Interop in Vegas in May and has opted to display at SuperComm in Atlanta in June >>

You must be referring to the Gigamux alone. Surely Osicom will have an exhibit for their other networking products, correct?

<< I heard their new brochure for the GigaMux includes an 80 Gbps, 32 channel DWDM system >>

This takes the cake. "Brochure"...hmmm...according to you Osicom is talking a 32 channel system before they have even sold an appreciable amount of their current 16 channel model? How do they expect to sell many 32 channel units when they can't even push the 16 channel units out the door? I wonder how cheap they are going to have to unload the 16 channel models now that potential customers know that a 32 channel model is on the way. I suppose your going to tell me that this is going to be a scalable solution and people who buy the 16 channel now are going to be able to upgrade to 32 channels simply and cheaply. Fair enough, but then there can't be any excuses that the 32 channel WDM's are cannibalizing 16 channel sales when the sales don't materialize next quarter.

The claims just keep getting bigger and bigger but the contracts just never seem to materialize.
