Has anyone seen or heard this in the past few weeks? I found it on one of the message boards. Hello. A friend I have who works for a small software company said he knows somebody who told him that Microsoft is interested in Ascend and will soon make a bid. I'm really skeptical and wondering if anyone has heard the same. He said that Microsoft wants their switching business which is going great as more people utilize the internet. He also said Microsoft wants their programmers that Ascend retained after they bought Stonybrook Software on Long Isalnd. I don't know if this is true but it's sounds great and I would love to make some dough if he's correct. Anyone have a comment or insight?
