Pat -

I remember dreaming of 8Mb surfing when we first started talking about ADSL. Now after lots of time and PR look what GTE is planning to charge for 1.5Mb.

<<Pricing will range from $30 per month for 256K-bps service to $250 a month for 1.5M-bps service, in addition to installation charges, Internet access fees and modem lease charges. Volume and term discounts will be offered to large-scale business customers, officials said.>>

Will they have the guts to charge $1000/mo for the full service? I for one will not line up for $250 per mo. Hope the surprises to come are lower prices to the masses...

Ed...

Pat, from your post it does not sound like you have fully read the announcement in news and on telechoice. Here it is for reference.
