David, That's chilling about KPMC. We've all seen a lot of big companies switching from the Mac in the last few years. I wonder, in two more years, if they will all be switching back?

They are like the stock advisors, who lower their recommendations after the companies have had bad earnings and raise their recommendations after the stocks have good earnings.

Hi David, AAPL loosing an account once gained & paid for through advertising $$$ does not contribute to an optimistic forecast for growth in Australian. I also read about a week or two ago AAPL lost their marketing manager or another key employee/position in Australia. What was/is AAPL market share in Australia? I thought at one time it was pretty strong. Does AAPL plan a SWIAS concept or shoring up their retailers there? Ozemail & Norman's must've considered present AAPL market not worth the hassle to hustle $$$? SideNote re marketing: EggHead software in the US (along time ago had a pretty good selection of AAPL software but eventually got thinner & thinner) closed their stores recently and went to the NET. Just recently, Creative Computers (another AAPL & PC retailer) followed and went to the NET. Retailers moving to the NET seems to be paying off in reduced overhead expense for experienced users/purchasers. Cheers, Dennis

The ozzies are very practical. the higher prices for Apples and lower for Wintels are worse there, due to the proximity of Asian sources and the distance and freight costs from the USA sources.

As they say Apple is binding itself into a small niche player, and can be profitable in that niche.
