Henry: I'm not moaning and groaning but I think a major problem with these news articles is that Ligand is never mentioned in them. (Maybe I should not say never mentioned because I'm sure you will find 1 or 2 out of the thousands you post where Lgnd is mentioned.) With all the areas Lgnd is conducting research in, most articles can relate to Ligand in some way. I'm just saying it would be nice if the articles mentioned Ligand at least some of the time. For example the Times article said they are looking at other drugs to react with Tamoxifen. Why didn't the reporter say Targretin or Panretin are two of the other drugs being looked at to work with Tamoxifen. Is this just poor or lazy research by the reporter or are there many other drugs that are being considered beside Ligands?

TO all the over-hypsters out there. The NY times article has-at the moment lowered the price of lgnd this morning. If ligand is such a force, why isn't the company getting any play within these articles? DO you really think that those reading the article are going to "know" about ligand. Of course, they are not. Show me an article that actually cites ligand and not one that hints to ligand. These off side articles that hint of ligand do nothing to bring name recognition to company, and that is what LGND needs-NAME RECOGNITION within the main stream media.
