<Still, aren't the tech's usually the last sector to rally just before a market correction? That seems to be usually when I get caught off guard.>

Tim,

In my view, the correction has already seen us and passed
us with hardly knowing it. Motorola bad news didn't keep
market down much. Bank mergers are keeping other sectors
fueled. Tech stocks are always being bought at very
short dips, it seems to me.

And, with massive liquidity, the market is under lots
of pressure to go up. So, the few down days in the
Nasdaq last week were the correction - hard to believe.

And now with no extremely bad news from Intel (I still
have to read the reports more thoroughly), confidence
is being restored. Part of what makes this possible
is that many believe the tech problems to be temporary
and are just waiting for 2nd half of '98 - when
we'll start being freed from E.Asia problems and general
tech supply woes.

I think I'll be looking to start buying more tomorrow -
beginnings of another bull rally - keeping
long term in mind mostly.
