Notice the trend in your history. Wcom was moving from a HIGHLY speculative small cap to a high flying big cap. Its now in the huge cap category, prospectively with the merger.

You are of course right about the incentive to stay above 41. Question is what's the surest way to do that, or at least be near it.

Splitting increases volatility. Great in a bull spurt. But also exposes the stock to risk of falling below the collar, or to low end, in a downturn.

I continue to think not till after the merger.
