Celeryroot, I haven't heard the AGPH/LLY rumors. I thought that AMLN's recent move up on heavy volume was somehow related to the well publicized inverse relationship between LGND and AMLN's stock price:
Message 2462372
Although LGND did not move from 15 to 75 when AMLN went from 15 to 3, recent posts on this board have suggested that it's just a matter of time before LGND gets to $75 (and the recent H&Q projection of an $0.84 gain next year would move such projections to an earlier rather than later time line).

Although LGND hasn't made the predicted fall to $10 (which was made after it fell through $11) the prediction that it COULD move to $14 (after it broke through $15) could have moved the AMLN buyers off the sidelines, forcing the price to 4 5/8 in just a few days.

Where did you about a LLY/AMLN rumor?
