Graystone,

Hmmm... Forgive me, for I have not read a great deal of your posts from the Naxos thread... I'm on hiatus from that thread, too. Although, I hear someone asked about me over there, so I think I might go over and pop my head in. Not to trivialize the matter, but perhaps someday we can actually meet in person and discuss our opposing opinions over a beer or two. :-)

There's a house going up that might soon block my view of the pin. I must say I'm just not that much into golf enough to get an aerial of the hole. As for aesthetic crime... hey, I live out in the desert... ha ha... I think golfers may carry a 1 iron just to be able to say to their caddies, "Hey, will you grab my big one?"

That was an interesting non sequitur. Yes, I like fish. I'm a fan of sushi. And growing up in Victoria I ate a lot of salmon, which I still enjoy. And canned tuna is a favorite, too. I had my first taste of rainbow trout at a restaurant in Bishop, CA (I was up in the area for the company for a meeting on permits). I thought it had a wonderful taste. I've never gone fly-fishing. When I was a kid, my Dad and I used to go fish off the rocks for salmon and rock cod. We used buzz-bombs and treble-barbs. Great fun! Hmmm... the Ukrainians? Are you out in the prairies? Winnipeg?
