Flan, the only person whose head is gonna stick between his LEGS is YOU cause the MCI/WCOMM merger is going to die along with their stock prices. You just wait and see but I hope you've better luck investing elsewhere.

Nuff said.

Is it about making money?

This thread is about making money with ECI stock and so far Flan has been right about ECI (although it has only been just less than two years, not three). Excel is the first stock I ever bought. I had always invested into a business I own and I new it was very risky with my zero stock experience. But life and business are full of risks, so I bought 100 shares at $29.75 the day after it went onto the NYSE. I mainly bought the stock because I want to be able to tell those I'm prospecting that I believe in our company enough to own their stock. You cannot put a value on that. Some on this board seem to confuse ECI stock with ECI opportunity. My focus is on the opportunity which continues to get better and the stock is a secondary issue to me as I don't have that much at stake. I am glad I bought the stock when I did as it has caused me to learn more about the telecom industry and stocks in general. Being an active Independent Rep is as close to becoming an insider as you can get. I have guessed the last several high and low swings on ECI pretty close. I finally got my online trading set-up through Waterhouse, so I can take advantage of the insights I have learned. If you are really long and ECI eventually does take of like a "Microsoft", the two year struggles will be long forgotten. (Which reminds me, I need to convert my ECI IRA stock to a Roth IRA before ECI takes off then I won't even have to pay taxes on the gain:-). If it were not for ECI I probably would have never gotten into stocks at all. Good luck to all whatever your strategy but please... those who represent ECI... no sarcasm or name calling! If we want to be taken as serious professionals then we need to be above that.
