William, Muse does not work...it never has!!! patients hate it.. physicians don't want anything to do with it....People are dropping like flys that use MUSE...main complaint is pain then there unit drops off..<GGG> those people that use Muse use it one time...if your unit drops off..its over!!! JG

I too found the internet (alt.support.impotence) to be incredibly negative on MUSE. Viagra is kicking ass over there. The only cases reporting failure with Viagra are radical prostatectomy patients. Viagra is working where MUSE didn't. Some posts backI asked Edderd to share his positive experience with his patients who have responded to MUSE. MY QUESTION: Your experience as a specialist in the field gives you that access (direct contact with ED patients). What range of treatments are you presently recommending to your patients? What percentage of your patients have settled upon a treatment that they have found to be ideal for them? How do you measure success with your own patients? What percentage are experiencing erections barely capable of penetration and what percentage are getting really good reliable boners? EDDERD'S ANSWER: "I have posted many times about our experience with Muse. It give a very good erection in about 50 to 60 percent of the patients who try it...I can't give you hard numbers since it's impossible to review these cases in private practice and earn a living at the same time." This tells me nothing. How many of his patients will switch to Viagra? I don't think he wants to put a damper on the enthusiasm of the hard-headed permabulls on this thread by giving out any real insightful answers to my questions. He also said "It is very important to teach the patient how to do the insertion. If they learn right the first time and it works then they will probably stick with it. Ed" I disagree. If they experience any discomfort or burning, they will opt out for Viagra once they try it successfully. At least that is what the market will probably bank on. As Edderd said "I know from conversations that they would love to eliminate that burning so it's a real problem. Ed"
