Nah! I understand your concern. I'm just making fun. Vantive has had quite a run this year. sometimes someone wants to bail and there's no one around to pick up the slack.

Here's my guess du-jour: Tom Siebel and John Luongo have the utmost respect for each other and will say kind things about the other's business on their respective conference calls.

Tom Siebel gets to go first on Thursday. Vantive won't get a chance to respond until they report on the 29th.

I also think this second drop of the day is probably being driven by day trader SOES bandits. Hopefully the nasdaq market will change over time and eliminate these manipulators and the strange dealer oriented market. I'd love to see the amex/nasdaq merger lead to a truer auction market.

But, just guesses on my part. Clam are you hearing anything or are you too busy negotiating to take down a slug of the Moss private placement?

P.S. the last block of more than 10,000 shares was 25,000 each way at 37 1/4. This is not being driven by an institutional seller.
