Penni-- I couldn't agree with you more, especially about that teacher. And now she's pregnant with his child again. Sickening. But--I do admire the kid's parents for taking responsibility for and accepting the baby. The baby had no control over how he or she was brought into the world. I would do the same for my grandchild. However, to implicitly condone the act, that is another story altogether. The teacher took advantage of a student in the worst possible way; and has now done it again. I probably wasn't ready for all the ramifications of the sex act until I was twice 13. But then, I always was a little slow. DScottD

To me sex should not be separate from love, from caring, from respect, from emotional commitment. It's not an isolated biological function to be indulged as if they were dogs. The first is better, but it can be either. As for the 14-year-old and the schoolteacher, I agree. It's weird. She (and she's, I think 37 or something, and has two children--or is it more?--by her husband) claims he's the "love of her life". Now supposedly she's pregnant again...
