I just today scanned a copy of VNTV's 1997 10K and found the following of interest: VNTV lists SAP, Oracle and Baan as potential competitors with no mention of Peoplesoft. VNTV claims to have completed out-of-the-box integrations with applications from PSFT and ORCL. A VNTV Director is a PSFT Sr. VP of Product Strategy. So what does this all imply? Maybe VNTV needs to remain independent in order to leverage its Oracle relationship since PSFT is not a competitive threat.
