He probably would. But neither of you seem to get the fact that it's about much more than having the biggest, fastest, "bestest" drive around. You gotta have a game plan, production capacity, marketing skills, and profit. I wouldn't invest in Castlewood if it were public.

But the fact is that it has a good "story." In this market,
anything with a story can do well. How else can you justify the
valuations of Yahoo, Excite, and Infoseek...

Actually Mike having the biggest, fastest, "bestest" drive around does help, its the ONLY reason why SYQT is still around, they have a good product. However ORB is a better product, and where I depart company from Rocko (in addition to AOL, YHOO and Quigly or whatever the F. it is) is that if ORB is the Destructor (and I don't mean the Stay Puff Marshmellow Man,"Ghostbusters") it will be the Destructor of Syquest. His fury at IOM, based on all of his massive losses, blinds him and makes him weak and cowardly.

With all jiberish aside...

Syquest upside potential is much greater than their downside risk.

I bought this stock since they just received the PC Magazine's highly read/regarded 'Editor's Choice' award. It's quite powerful when they make statements similar to, "surpasses Iomega", etc. This alone sets the stage for an upside trade. It's also nice to see such large block insider buys.

SYQT could really run up if they announce that demand is huge (likely), they are now making a profit on each unit, and they see profit margins expanding from here (unlikely, but... ). If they don't make this announcement on this round, I still believe there will be an opportunity to trade out of the stock for a healthy short term gain.
New technology announcements are constant. Consumer market acceptance/momentum is much more important to pay attention to.

Anyone know when earnings are scheduled to be announced??
