Certain firms have positions on stocks (long or short)that they enter using various strategies. These firms sometimes manipulate stock prices to make sure their positions pay off.

His job is to make money for ML's clients. The stock must go down before his clients can buy it. Then, he can make a buy recommendation after the stock is in their accounts. If you can repeat the cycle a few times, you can be a guru too. Regards.
