JP, RE: Smoke and mirrors If you believe that CPQ actually had net margins of 27% last quarter then I have a bridge for sale that might interest you. The margins that they reported appear to be based on a sale through that did not occur. Ask yourself this interesting question: If you average this quarter performance with the last two quarters performance what kind of profit, revenue and margin numbers will you get? Now if you add in the projections for next quarter, CPQ's great annual earnings disappear into their constipated channels.
