Good grief! We agree on George Bush's administration? I'm feeing positively lightheaded!

I do remember the press getting rev'd up to make young Neil the poster boy for the S&L debacle shortly before this country found itself in Iraq in 1990.

Fact is, President Bush did about four things while in office of which I approved and applauded, and I've forgotten three of them.

I would say also that with the notable exceptions of President Nixon and perhaps President Lyndon Johnson, the media have, for the most part, given E-ticket rides to all our Presidents of modern times, at least while they were in office.

BTW, do you think you could dredge up the speech the President of the ABA made re Kenneth Starr and re-post it here? It would be much appreciated. I went to the ABA's site, but couldn't find said speech. That isn't to say it isn't there, however.

Holly
