If you had been on the Internet while President Reagan and then President Bush held office, you too would applaud one of the things President Bush did while in office, that being he freed up the data which had been paid for with our tax dollars but was sold to private interests to sell back to us. President Bush changed that, and that is why we now have really good things like EDGAR free for the clicking with dirt-cheap ISP access charges.

I agree that the ABA, like every other artificially exalted special interest group, is, in reality, a glorified trade union, but the ABA President made some very good and cogent points in his recent speech re Ken Starr. The speech was discussed on this thread about a month ago. I was hoping someone with faster Net access would find it and post it here. I do not believe that the speech has yet been posted on this thread in its entirety.
