i agree. i have been buying every time ngpsf drops into the $6 range. The last opportunity wasnt that long ago and it built back to over $10. If you bought the stock on speculation only, i can understand the frustration. I saw several thousand bucks evaporate over the past few days too. I cant believe Marconi is scamming us. If they were, why did they buy at the top? they could have let the stock collapse on the warning and then steal it. Why also would they make statements about wanting to preserve its "entrepreneurial independence"? They have more at stake in this than any of us. How can they expect to turn a buck if they slam the employees who own stock? It is the speculative players who drove the price up on rumors. They were looking for a quick score, they got burned, they bailed, and now they are crying. I am not sympathetic because they got burned. On the other hand,I am sympathetic for the employees who are getting jerked around. Everything considered I think the situation is actually bullish at this level. Im gonna buy another chunk tomorrow.....and hold. The most ive paid so far is $6 1/2. Hopefully i wont have to reach over that. Please, if anyone really believes that this was a big scam, go ahead and complain to the SEC and the Canadian equivalent, but dont file one of those idiot crybaby lawsuits!!!

good to see that there is someone else out there watching this dog.what are your thoughts for the nearterm. imo, at some point the stock will be oversold (maybe is now) and someone will come in and start buying. it trades so thinly that any news can drive it up (or down). witness in may after new directors were annnounced, it brushed close to $7 and then retraced to that very ugly $4.25 level.

i did write to p spothelfer in may and he elaborated on the reasons for the disastrous quarter among other things. the following are some of his comments. i wouldnt take it to the bank but they do provide some comfort for those of us who havent bailed.

"To further expand the company we are strengthening our
distribution by opening an European office in July, we are implementing the new
alliance with Nikon in Japan for the distribution of our survey and mapping
products in this market and we are reorganizing our distribution in Canada. On
the product development side we continue to develop new products which will
extend our product portfolio substantially.

Two weeks ago I have visited major institutional shareholders together
with a Marconi executive and we plan a series of presentations later this summer
with Canadian and US institutions and retailers. Communication with the analysts
covering our stock is on going and part of our regular investor relation
efforts.
We at NovAtel are obviously not happy with the current share price. But
we are also convinced of the mid- and long-term potential of NovAtel and do not
have the short term view which seems to be typical for a lot of investors. We
work hard to grow NovAtel and make the company successful and we strongly
believe that we will succeed. This ultimate success will make our option
valuable and you can be assured that this is very strong motivator."
