Matthew,
Just to add a little more to the discussion; It seems the agreement with Premier, the largest healthcare alliance in the US, would further enhance the value of the stock. Premier is endorsing Cerner as the preferred supplier of clinical data repository systems. There is potential to establish a standard clinical data repository system that could be used by a significant segment of the industry. I have not heard anything on the windows-based healthcare application.

I work in information systems and know for a fact that it takes longer than was first thought to get a new product out the door. When they said they were comming out with a new product, companies will always wait for the new product. We just need to give them more time. By the way I also own the stock and will stick with them for now.

For almost 2 weeks, there has been a tremendous increase in volume with no movement in price. I am guessing that it's institutions buying on downticks. Yesterday the volume tapered off. so, the institution(s) got in and established a full position without moving the price a bit. Today, they buy on upticks, create a little upward momentum and the stock takes off.

I was stuck with a pretty good size chunk expecting a good earnings announcement. When it didn't materialize, I just held on. Now I'm glad I did.
