<<My largest complaint was that (as of last July anyway ... I left)
once the sum of your buys for the day exceed last nite's calculation
of buying power, you no longer get autoexecution but must wait for
the manual boat desk to recalc your buying power: sales over the
course of the day do not effect the stale BP number in the autoexec
front end.>>

thanks for your reply....fwiw as you may not know they allegedly got rid of the 'cash up front' rule (mid-august 1997, i thinK) that only let you turn cash over once a day...but what they did NOT disclose is that daily buying power is now 4x cash before your orders are held for review...i know this as i ran into this many many times after last august and when i went back and totalled my buys prior to the first delayed one, EVERY time my first delayed order put total buys over 4x initial CASH balance....a nice little tacit way of making them 'soes-proof', or at least keeping a person with a 150k acct from doing 5 million in dell trades a day....
