ALL:

I find that e-schwab is never blindingly fast, but at times recently has turned slug-like, especially just at market opening. Some two weeks ago it took me 20 minutes to enter two trades. Yesterday the status/change/cancel page simply wouldn't load most of the day, and one time critical trade early in the morning took so long that I had to complete the transaction by phone. When I inform Schwab of the problem they tell me it's either my browser (I use both Netscape and IE4) my system (i have two machines including a PII) my ISP ( I use two, connecting via 33.6 modems), anything but the possibility their servers are overtaxed.

So my question is, do others have the same problems? Before I move my account I'd like to eliminate the possibility that the fault lies with me - bad net karma of one sort or another.

Thanks in advance to all.
