Two minutes isn't much time, so it probably was done to
sweep up existing limit sell orders. Seen that before.<g>

PK, I think you are right on the mark. If you look at the ESV chart carefully, someone picked up 90,000 shares at the very bottom which caused the stock to recover quite a bit. I wouldn't doubt that it might be fund manager who is going for the long haul and wanted this stock badly and on the cheap.
Baird's convinced him.
