well

it means this

you tell me you get a sell signal

when I hear the word "sell" that means short

but you are saying that you dont alway short when you tell us you get a "sell" signal...or the converse..you dont always go long when you get a buy signal

so to me..this is a "FLAT" signal...you are NOT opening a position

but if you were long and you got that signal..wouldnt you close it out??????

so
if you are long
you will close out on a sell signal..that you take action on (opening a position)...I call it "sell" signal

or a sell signal that you dont take action on(you dont open a position)...I call it a go "flat" signal

because you are either long short or flat....
