Sal, Cendant is missing...I thought you were high on them as an ecommerce blue chipper?

Netscape had sales of nearly 600MM---whereas amazon and yahoo are still I believe sub 100MM animals.

Their stories are glossier for the moment.

Maybe that's the way you rate em, eh?

I am an expert in these areas.

Don't mean to insult you again, Sal, but credentials please?

Basically, when the internet mania is over, the higher-tier stocks will go
down less than the lower-tier stocks. That is my main criteria in classifying>>

It would seem to me that Yahoo, from it's absurd price has more room down below.

Sal, is that really you or is someone using your password and trying to make you look silly? ;-)

>>>Calling NSCP a 3rd-tier internet performer is my own subjective viewpoint. I am an expert in these areas. It's fine if you don't agree.<<<

That tickling you feel behind your ears is the water drying, Sal. Of course it's cute when the young strut this way, so we let you do it. We all think "how precocious." Just don't get ahead of yourself, or the magic will go away. If you are feeling experienced, try to remember that even Reginald is maybe 3 times more experienced than you.

Don't let writing a couple of articles fool you. I had a regular weekly column by the time I was nineteen, but what did I really know? They'll print anything, you know. Especially in the financial opinion arena, where the more hot air you blow, the better they like it.

As it happens, this is not an IBM or GE or Sony, nor a DEC or Sun or MSFT. So measured against all companies anywhere it is not so big, but in the Internet context it is pretty large and very seminal for the industrialization of the net, if not it's invention.

Cheers,
Chaz
