hmm. flat sequential earnings on meager R&D spend. Stopped breaking out seat counts and merger transition. This is the first quarter in the history of Siebel I haven't been shocked at how good the results were. The company is growing nicely but I wonder if it was enough. EPS would have been $.09 if they had spent what VNTV did in R&D (in absolute $$, not % of rev - SEBL's rev base is higher).
