<<What about the market PFE can't capture like moderate to severe ED patients?>>

Will PFE expand the number of patients seeking help with impotence through their ad campaign? Yes, definitely. How many of those that fail Viagra will try MUSE and thus benefit VVUS. A lot less than a lot of the longs are hoping for is my guess. Impotent men already know they are impotent and it is not as if they have never heard there is treatment before the Viagra ads. Many are desparate for a solution and have heard about pumps, implants, shots and MUSE but have not gone to their doctor because they reject them all. If a pill doesn't work for them, don't assume that they will automatically move on to MUSE.

Colby: Good to hear from you again. All I can comment on is this:
Look at the stock itself and how it is behaving. I am not a MD. That end is aptly covered by Dale. Just watch the stock itself. It will tell you all you need to know. It is giving everybody an equal opportunity, if they will look without blinders. Where do you think it will end up?

Good luck

Mike

Coby: I would like to compliment you on your post!

It is a shame that people can't communicate in an intelligent way.

However, the VVUS Board is marked by poor manners, attacks, misinformation and paranoia.

Any attempt to have a reasoned discussion is usually marked by personal attacks. At least, TA really believed what he posted. He was often wrong and suffered from "Doctoritis" but he was honest and kinda fun to agrue with.

The recent post concerning blindness and Viagra is a great example of what is wrong with the VVUS Board. If this person really felt his research was true, why is he posting it to every possible Internet Board instead of sending it to the FDA? Does he really think that this information was missed by the FDA..which gave Viagra a priority review and did not require a panel committee review. This is the type of person I try to avoid in real life. I certainly don't want to be talk to him on the Internet.

Back to VVUS. First, I do not hold any position in the company, but am very long on PFE and obviously have an interest in ED. I briefly held VVUS in December. But, sold @ 14 after reaching my target profit in last than a month.

If I was long VVUS, I would be primarily concerned with VVUS' management. They really don't have a clue about marketing....a big problem when you only have one product.

The second near-term problem will be the AUA meeting in early June. Abstracts have been published in the May issue of Journal of Urology. Many positive Viagra studies will be presented including a very positive one on severe ED. Moreover, two large MUSE studies will be presented that start with the title "Disappointing Results with Transurethral ..."

I hope this information will be useful for you. I am sure that 90% of the VVUSers won't believe any part of it..... as they continue to double-down on their investments, pronounce the next "short squeeze", and look for that elusive bottom.

I wish you the best with your investments. However, given the changing ED market, I am not optimistic that VVUS can recover over the next 3 months.

If MUSE RXs can bounce back, VVUS may have a fighting chance despite their management.

Good Investing!
