Zeev, I have been watching the red on SEA for the last two days,
and quite surprised that there is so little traffic on this thread.
We are again nearing the 15000 level of Nikkei. Last fall this was key level to start worrying about Japanese banks. Since they have not made much money during the last few months, but only expenses, things don't look great tonight.

P.S. After talking to you about edge-defined growth, I jogged
my memory and now know how they grow silicon sheets and
even octagonal cylinders (at Arco Solar?, which dropped its solar research a few years ago)

Zeev,

Is it at all amazing that the new SEC rules for circuit breakers is now in effect...1 hr. halt @ 10%, 2 hr. @ 20%... compared to previously...350pts (4%) and 550pts. (6%)...

Setting the stage for some wild rides to happen...

Or maybe I'm just as crazy as Mel Gibson in Conspiracy Theory. I wondered if he picked up some AKSEF on the way to the clinic today?

Of Nursing Bearish sentiments.

Zeev,

Your ability to predict the market is admirable and uncanny but I still fervently believes in the ability of the U.S markets to sustain steady growth coupled with low inflation thereby providing excellent investment opportunities. My second choice for investments will be Europe. I am not saying there won't be any corrections on the way,a 10-20% correction when the market overextends itself too soon will happen periodically but that is no reason to be bearish if one is a long term investor. Also companies in the U.S whose exposure to SEA will suffer great pains on the way but there are a lot of companies right here whose exposure is limited and should weather the storm without much damage.

I am sure there are opportunities in SEA as well but all I am saying is there are more of it here than anywhere else. The erstwhile 'tigers' turned 'alley cats' will need time and plenty of it to metamorphose into their former glory. In the mean time my money is going to stay right here in the good 'ole USA.

PS:Why is it that I see an unusual number of bears here,I wonder!!!!
