Harry...you are still alive... There is no place like the valley. I say that as I seriously contemplate moving to Seattle. With a TI line and bunch of computers, why deal with the traffic congestions, outrageous house prices etc. etc. Before moving to the valley I always felt that I looked and felt 10 years younger than my age. After 8 years in the middle of it I feel 10 years older than my age and I'm beginning to look that way too. The reason still eludes me. This place is so exciting and yet there is no where to hide to get away from it. True the weather is great. But talk about competition!! And a money driven mind-set... As much as I like grabbing at the brass ring..and being on the bleeding edge of society's technological future... there are times I really miss the simplicity of a cabin on the lake or in the mountains. Move to Seattle ...I'm still up for founding a database-driven, transaction-type internet company! We just need a little $$$ funding. The rest is a piece of cake. @jim
