Mike,

You always seem to be behind in your analysis, usually by about 6 months to a year.<g>

First of all the new systems today are now approaching an average 64mb Dram requirements not 32 mb. Certainly by August, which is the time frame you chose, that will be the minimal need. So you are actually 100% off on your demand requirements.

Second, the existing market spent money upgrading their existing systems to 32mb. That will continue this year and will probably expand to bring some systems up to 64mb, since memory is so inexpensive. I am not sure what this part of the market is, but I would guess another 10-20%.

You really are too biased to come up with any meaningful numbers and yet you critcize DJ continuosly about his bias... which I have never been able to detect.
