CNBC the mistakes have happened before and will happen again I think.
I'm sure everyone remembers Maria's big "LU buying ASND scoop" I
believe she was "promoted" so she wouldnt have the chance to scoop
another hot story (rumor) from the floor.

I buy INTC on dips. If you feel you should sell, then SELL!
How many worried about MSFT and the DOJ? You better sell MSFT too
because the DOJ will put MSFT out of business.

Gersh. Right. And a lot of those rumors are coming directly from the trading floor. I rather they report it than not.

One should always try to verify the rumours....this could have been verified very easily. I do not watch CNBC or CNN fer rumours when I can get all I want from Hard Copy...GRIM HAS SPOKEN...

A thorough Investigation should be done and any good news org will try to prevent such events with a strict protocol to be followed or all hell could break lose...The real losers are the short term traders and option holders....
