You can look in the latest Scientific American ( April ) for info on projects similar to Iridium. However, it's primarily technical info, not financial.

Teledesic (Not sure of the spelling) - Craig McCaw venture and I think Hughes is into another (check out their web site) and then there's American Mobile Satellite (I think). Check out some analyst report on one of these 3 and you'll learn about the industry
