Steve:

I'm under the same handle on the Yahoo message board. I tend to hang out there more often, and if you read my post #4013 (see below), my gut said it all. Sorry about not relaying this to SI, but I'm just following the ticker, not rumors by anyone. We'll see how this plays out over time.

Regards,

QuadK

3 days. Just a strange gut feeling....analyst's report? I don't know, I just feel there is something lurking out
there that is going to move the price in the nearterm.

Not saying to anyone, by any means, to trade on this feeling, I'm just putting it in for the record for what its
worth.

No I haven't gone to the palm reader this week ;).

Regards,

QuadK

>>If they could establish an internet mindset it could run.<<

Mr. Fancy,

You hit the nail on the head. If you recall, back in late march, Barrons had run article about Novell and Banyan. I believe it was the week end of March 21. Since than Banyan has moved from 4+ to 10-5/8 (today's close) and Novell has gone from 11 to 10-9/16. And believe me Banyan has not moved on their Vines strength, but their Switchboard search engine. As you see, Internet is the name of the game. It is truly amazing that BNYN closed higher than NOVL today.

May be Schmidt and BOD should meet and chant "We are internet", "We are internet".... around wall street and those 26 year old analysts will take notice.

I hope our turn will come and hopefully, during our life time.

Well, back to lurking,

Regards, JK

OK Steve,

I'm trying to redeem myself by giving you a link to a NOVL article not yet on the web, but in my hands ;) as I type.

Link to Sunday's Washington Post front page Business Section on Novell and Schmidt as the turnaround man. I get this section on Saturday afternoon, and the web link isn't in yet, so go
to this site on Sunday, April 19 for the full story. Nothing overly new in the article, just goes over Schmidt's daily schedule,
his drive, energy, and ability to wear many hats each day in his efforts to get NOVL back into action as a surviving company
providing networking software for customers needs in the inter/intranet and networked computers. However, as I've said many times before, Schmidt is the driving catalyst to Novell's future, not whether the current BOD is replaced all at once, or piece by piece. (I believe the "all at once" sweep would be extremely disruptive to Novell and the shareholders, but hey, just my opinion). Anyway, Schmidt listens, and then goes into action. I like his style very, very much.

washingtonpost.com

The article is titled "The Trials of a High-Tech Turnaround Man - Eric Schmidt's Energetic Effort to Revive Software Firm
Novell Begins to Pay Off"
