I worked for McCann in Atlanta for ten years, and I sure wouldn't hire McCann for memorable, cutting edge advertising. They are the civil service of the advertising world. They do well at coordinating advertising specialties into (often unbelievable) user imagery campaigns (remember when they did Coke advertising?). In short, imho, McCann offers an expensive way to produce forgettable advertising. Just my two cents. BTW, was it the McCann-Erickson new york office?
