The reviewer errs

Eventually, we learn the premise of this
self-consciously wacky memoir: Huffington lost a
bet with Franken that the GOP would take over the
Senate, so she donates $50 to the Democratic
National Committee. Immediately she is called by a
DNC spin doctor who wants to celebrate (read:
exploit) her as the first of many Republicans to join
the Democratic bandwagon.


The Reps had and held the Senate so she didn't lose that bet. The bet would have been about the WH. - Unless it's all fiction.

Btw, the American Lbrary Association liked it amazon.com
