Reseller, I think IOM is entering a bullish stage. It's been knocked down in price too low by negative articles by Greenberg and others. I look forward to a slow upward climb. All the negative factors are out and the positive factors will prevail in the next 6-9 months. IOM is not ready to lie down and play dead. SR

Reseller , Re:>>> new low-price ( Low Cost ?) storage drive <<<

This news came after the market closed today .

The question that I have is :

It is my understanding that Iomega has been working on developing a single chip for the Zip Drive that will take the place of a number of chips and reduce the cost considerably . Could this be the reason for todays news announcement ?

They are saying that it is a new low price drive .

If this is the case we will see Iom go up Monday on the news .

Iomega will announce a new low-price storage drive Monday for the retail market, hoping to capitalize on the low-cost PC craze and move past recent setbacks involving some of its older products.

Reseller, I took a late lunch, and was expecting nothing exciting at CompUsa. Thus I was surprised to find the ATAPI retail boxes and even more surprised to find them at $99. I looked at my watch and it was 2:50 PM CDT. I immediately wished I could buy some IOM at market for the first time since November. I feared I had missed it again and numbers would be boffo and everyone knew but me (and rock and jock). Thus I am relieved I can still buy cheap. Today, after some more thought, I am even more confidant IOM hit bottom at 6 5/16, so I cancelled my 5 1/2 buy and reinstated it at 6 1/2. I hope it can go down that far one more time. A double bottom and I'm in again.
