Tim,

....if one cries wolf enough, it may indeed come along...! ha...For some of us longs here, it is your repeated post of doomsday that is annoying. So what if market comes down. There is always a risk. The question is, is your observations are for trader or investor..? I suggest you qualify your statements that they are MEANT FOR TRADERS ONLY. 3 to 6 months TAVA will be lot higher than even you can imagine. If stock corrects with rest of the market, so what..? It will be another opportunity to average down. Period. Also for you to get some cheap shares for next momentum ride...your play is pretty transparent now.

So, quit crying wolf on TAVA thread. If it comes, let it come.

Raj

Tim:

No disrespect - but if you or anyone is "afraid of this market" now,
he really shouldn't be buying common stocks.

You're not the first one that backed out of a market because you sensed a climax; many have done it. However, one shouldn't apply his negative intuition to one stock when one really worries over the entire market. You know you could be right, but I don't think so.

>>>If this market breaks hard it will not matter if the good lord himself is chairman of Tava this stock will get hit.<<<

Tim:

"IF"

Three years ago market pundits also said "IF"... Those that were scared off, missed three of the greatest years in market history...

Even if the market was to correct, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, TAVA would present the buy of the century... Y2k is coming regardless of what the market does... As such, the laws of supply and demand are in TAVA's favor... TAVA is meant to be held through 1999, at least... Those doing so, should be amply rewarded... Those that get scared off will spend the rest of their lives saying "IF"...

Tim,

I don't know what data you are looking at but I think we have a couple of more weeks to go before any major correction. There is just TOO MUCH money coming into this market and with a few exceptions there have been relatively few earnings disappointments(of course, analysts downward earnings revisions assisted in this). $6 Billion can into the market just last week as reported by CNBC and we also made it quite nicely through the 9,000 threshold.

The only thing that REALLY worries me is Japan. Without major efforts on their governments part to induce consumer confidence, there may be further downside in the Nikkei, with the resulting financial breakdown of their bank capitalization requirements.

But I think Acampora is right. We're headed towards 9,500-10,000 by July on the Dow and then watch out.

Regards,

Ron

If this market breaks hard, all stock holders of any company are in trouble. Tim, I still worry about the ASIAN flu, and all of us know there is a panic coming in 1999, if not this year.

I always like to read your posts, keep your perspective so we don't get too cocky.

Here is to TAVA hitting the 40's before Wall Street wakes up to Dec.,1999!

I still agree with Tim that we are in the last leg of a major bull run,and that we are likely to see a couple months that are far less heady. It's a good place to examine your portfolio. But one thing to consider is the tax hit you'll take on taking TAVA profits. Even if TAVA takes a hit with a general market hit, TAVA will rally back on the strength of its good upcoming news: sequential profitable quarters throughout 1998, a rollout with Coke that is likely to be its largest contract ever, the great comparisons with last year's quarters that the CFO set up, utility contracts, Boeing warming up (TAVA has a long-standing relationship) according to the press release, accelerating backlog, and great PR going forward as the Fortune article begins to percolate. TAVA is the keeper. Pare elsewhere.
