So Nixon was OK then?

We're not talking about whether Nixon or Clinton is "okay". We're talking about "accusations" and "evidence". One difference: Nixon was declared an "unindicted co-conspirator" and subsequently pardoned by Ford; the Clinton business has so far not, um, come to a head.

If Clinton is innocent, then of course he should deny everything. And considering how very, very badly Starr wants to get him, I can understand (if not always approve) his reluctance to make the special prosecutor's life easier.
