Kathleen,

Yes, new shares are issued as the options are exercised. But, I would expect that it will take years for them to issue 32 million shares...unless they have been very busy granting options over the last 6 months. This issue of dilution is why many tech companies that issue large amounts of options, also aggressively buy back their own stock. In MU's case they do not have the financial wherewithal to do so.
